“call me Stephinka”
My name’s Stephanie but you can call me Stephinka or just Steph. I was credited as Steph Kong or Stephanie Kong for previous my make up work.
Unfortunately, I do not currently take make up jobs due to severe pain and spine problems, but I’m still really into make up, beauty and fashion, so I decided to turn my portfolio site into a blog.
I was self-taught at make up application and went on to attend the Make Up and Hair Artistry diploma course at The Make Up Room (Singapore) just to see if I can learn anything new to hone my skills, and to get a nifty piece of paper telling you that I’m the real deal. After 6 months of intense training, I graduated as the top student and actually now have 6 years of make up application experience under my belt 
Don’t let my age fool you!
My education background was in Life Science, but I was drawn to the transformative powers of makeup and I have never looked back since I put down the test tubes to take up the makeup brush professionally, and it would have been something I would continue to do if it were not for my health.
In my free time, I love making handmade cards, which I also blog about over at stephinka.wordpress.com
