It has been a while since I had last participated in test shooting. Mostly involved in some private events, including one where I got to see David Tao in person hahahaha! I’m not a fan so I wasn’t screaming or anything; I had gone out of the venue innocently to thaw myself (it was FREEZING) and there he was, standing there waiting to be picked up after his performance. Thought that was funny!

Completed also a job for Blackberry, but it is corporate, so no photos to share! I got jokingly chided for using my iPhone in a Blackberry office- so I told them they could give me one I’m waaaaiting, BB! I want to see if you are as good as you claim to be Will continue to be involved in more private work so, well, I’ll keep you guys posted! See you!

I have had the wonderful pleasure of working with a beautiful, inside and out, model by the name of Sabina who is currently based in Milan.

My first upload will be a trend look featuring prominent brows and contouring as seen on the runways F/W ’10. I have adapted these looks to be very wearable, providing you allow them to be the highlight of the face Brows are the perfect frame to a modern face and I have to say, I do very much love working with brows and brow shapes.

We did these two trials for an upcoming photoshoot project! Heh heh… You’re all in for a treat.

This first look is a classic red lip paired with a bronze-brown smoky eye and winged liner. Kiryne left our session wearing this look! Love to see more girls out there rocking the red lips, definitely. Nothing screams femme fatale more than a good red lippie.

Face: MAC Studio Fix Fluid foundation, MAC Studio Finish concealer, MAC Coppertone blush, Benefit Hoola bronzer, Benefit One Hot Minute bronzer, Chanel translucent powder.

Eyes: MAC Brule eyeshadow, MAC Patina eyeshadow, MAC Bronze eyeshadow, Milani Java Bean eyeshadow, MAC Blacktrack eyeliner, Urban Decay Zero pencil eyeliner, Illamasqua Vow pencil, MAC Spiked eyebrow pencil, Ardell false lashes in 110.

Lips: MAC Cherry lipliner, Illamasqua Maneater lipstick, MAC Clear lipglass.

This look is created with emphasis on the eye area. Extremely bright eyeshadow, full-on lashes (we’re talking 3 pairs of lashes  here!) and bright candy pink blush applied to the temples. Not something you’d wear on a daily basis but a fun look to create and easy to tone down into something wearable. More a fashion make up or a party look I’d say!
