Been doing a series of shoots for a new baby/children’s mag… Applying make up for kids is no easy feat, some of them don’t even want you to come near them with a brush within 5m radius, but I’ve been pretty lucky so far. No one has cried or vomited on me.

Maya has GORGEOUS red hair, and the interesting thing is that the gene for having red hair is recessive, so you need to have parents who carry the gene for red hair to pass them along to you- Maya’s parents are British and Indian! So somewhere down the line, her Indian mother’s family had someone with red hair/had a spouse who had the gene for it! Ok, ok, I won’t bore you with the science talk….
